Waterways
Hydraulic Construction
Creek crossings, bank stabilization and water work done in the water.
What this work involves
Water work is decided by footprint. With swamp pads and the ability to wade in up to six feet of water, the spider works directly in creeks and along shorelines — restoring channels, reinforcing banks and protecting fish habitat with ultra-low ground impact.
A 360° rotatable grapple keeps silt disturbance to a minimum, and the machine runs on fully biodegradable hydraulic fluid. Where a site is reachable only by water, the spider’s rubber tires ride a barge without chewing up the deck.

Called in to a restoration job in swift water — the spider is built to work directly in the creek.
-
Walking the creek bed on swamp pads keeps the ecological impact to an absolute minimum.
-
Equipped with swamp pads, the spider works through silt to bury breakwater anchors.
